The competition wants to be a real opportunity for the participants to develop their career, with AN AUTHORITATIVE PANEL OF JUDGES FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, REPRESENTATIVES OF SOME OF THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS IN EUROPE AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
Among theM, M° Andrea Morricone, son of Ennio and -like is father- author of soundtracks such as the Oscar winner “Nuovo Cinema Paradiso”.
STELVIO CIPRIANI studied piano and harmony at Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.
In 1957 he started playing as the pianist of important Italian pop singers such as Rita Pavone, Tony Renis and Peppino di Capri. In the USA he studied jazz with Dave Brubeck.


IN 1967 he wrote the soundtrack for “A Man, A Horse And A Gun”, which was recorded by Henry Mancini.
Worldwide fame came in 1970, when he composed the score for Anonymous Venetian. This score was a hit all over the world, receiving all the major awards.
Another important soundtrack is “Tentacles”, a 1977 American film interpreted by John Huston, Shelley Winters and Henry Fonda.
another important step in his career was In 1981, when he composed “Piranha: The Spawning”, THE first movie by the canadian Oscar-winning director James Cameron.


Stelvio Cipriani has composed over 300 film scores, he worked with some of the most important Italian directors such as Dino Risi, Steno, Mario Bava, Lucio Fulci, and even Quentin Tarantino has chosen Cipriani’s music as a soundtrack for his movie “Grindhouse: Death Proof”.
